Lake County Court Shutdowns Extended
Posted on behalf of Donahue & Walsh, P.C. | May 6, 2020
Lake County extends and modifies Court shutdown through May 29, 2020 and beyond for many cases.
- All cases with court dates through May 29, 2020 will receive new court dates via the clerk.
- To check your court date, click here, and search by your name, or call our office at 815-605-5687 and we will assist you.
- All Branch Courts (Round Lake Beach, Mundelein, and Park City) are closed until July 6, 2020.
- All traffic and misdemeanor cases are continued until after July 6, 2020 and will be notified by the clerk.
NEW CASES
Donahue & Walsh will continue to meet with clients that have new cases at our McHenry office following all social distancing requirements, including mask requirements. Legal services are an essential service. To schedule an appointment, call 815-344-8860 and somebody will get back to you within 24 hours.

EXISTING CASES
Most existing cases have been automatically continued by the court, so meeting from now through May 30 is probably not necessary. All pressing matters will still be addressed. We are available by phone, email, or other electronic means. Request an appointment above if needed.
If you have a new DUI with a summary suspension or an issue related to bond, the court continues to hear these matters. That means Donahue & Walsh will proceed business as usual for these cases, with all social distancing guidelines in place.
